About the author.

I’m A. R. Vale, an aspiring novelist drawn to the strange things hiding inside familiar places.

I write speculative fiction with a horror slant: quiet towns, unsettling discoveries, and people trying to make sense of events that resist explanation. Cosmic horror interests me most when its enormous questions arrive through intimate, human moments.

This space is a record of that work. You’ll find fiction samples, notes on stories in progress, and occasional thoughts on the books, images, and questions that keep me writing.

“What if the impossible had been here all along, waiting for someone to notice?”

Thanks for stepping into the dark with me.
